About the role:
Main Responsibilities:
Drives value through strategic initiatives and contribution on projects and agreements that could bring benefits and efficiencies to the businessSupport the Tequila & Mezcal Legal Director in monitoring litigations, legal spend and handling the legal budget.Provide legal counsel on the diverse matters related to the Tequila & Mezcal business, including corporate, financial, tax, regulatory, and contractual.Perform effective risk assessment for on the Tequila & Mezcal business. Guarantee legal protection to the business.Promote before adequate authorities a safer, beneficial and just legal framework for the business.Deliver the correct legal framework that guarantees Diageo´s reputation as the most trusted and respected Company.Negotiate appropriate contracts, documents, and positions representing the Tequila & Mezcal businessQualifications:
EssentialBachelors in Law (at least 10 years of experience).Fluent English and SpanishStrong communication skillsStrong public relationships capabilities.Strong leadership capabilities.Proficient Commercial, Public, Administrative, Corporate and Tax Law Knowledge.Strong legal defense strategies designing capabilities.Strong analytical skills especially in complex situations where a prompt and efficient solution is needed.Honesty and strong personality with deep self-confidenceDesirablePostgraduate degree in corporate, administrative or tax law.We offer stellar benefits!
