About this role:

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Diverse Segments Representation and Inclusion, Legal, and Public Affairs business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Workplace Technology. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

We are seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant within EFT to drive data strategy initiatives across Wells Fargo Technology and other business units. This role will focus on aligning data capabilities with business objectives, leading cross-functional teams, and partnering with executive stakeholders to deliver enterprise data solutions.

In this role, you will:

Lead the development and execution of enterprise data strategies and roadmapsConduct data maturity assessments, identify gaps, and define remediation plansTranslate business objectives into measurable data initiatives and outcomesAdvise on modern data architecture, including cloud platforms, data lakes, and warehousesSupport the development of advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilitiesFacilitate workshops and executive briefings to align stakeholders and drive consensusAct as a strategic advisor to senior leadership across business and technologyLead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data strategy engagementsDefine and manage functional requirements for complex business and technology initiativesOversee project documentation, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful executionCollaborate across business and technology teams to deliver integrated data solutionsEnsure effective communication and alignment between stakeholders at all levels

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of experience leading large-scale global data initiatives5+ years of experience with data governance, including key data element identification, profiling, data lineage, data requirements, and quality rule documentation5+ years of experience working in financial services industry, particularly in finance and risk domains including Liquidity Risk and Regulatory Reporting5+ years of experience in creating & delivering technology roadmaps5+ years of experience creating domain level data strategies
