Facilitates security requirements clarification for multiple networks to enable multi-level security to satisfy organizational needsWorks with stakeholders and senior business leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerabilityDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersDrives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processesTriaging based on risk assessments of various threats and managing resources to cover impact of disruptive events Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on Security Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceSkilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutionsProficient in AI/ML techniques and skilled in advanced analytics.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python, R, Java, and C++.Strong Database skills with Oracle & DynamoDB and experience in tuning database queries, processing large amount of data.Able to design and implement solutions that work against high-volume data sources. Practical experience of architecting & developing applications on any one of the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure) Extensive experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testingAbility to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight Practical cloud native experience Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Java, Kubernetes and AWS certification is a plus.Good experience on writing unit tests in Java and React JS for a highly complex enterprise environment. Proven experience with modern frontend framework and libraries such as React is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab for automating software delivery
