Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceKnowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessmentsAdept in specific infrastructure technology and programming languages- Python, Shell Scripting, utilizing them to automate workflowsDeep technical knowledge across multiple domainsDeep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private cloudsExpertise with on-premise data backup and recovery methodologiesKnowledge of infrastructure engineering design principles to design solutions that meet customer requirementsExperience in Unix and Linux operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AIX, SolarisAbility to independently manage cross functional projects with peer infrastructure teams and external vendors
