Responsibilities:

B.E Mechanical /Industrial / Production Engineering with 8-15 years of experience in subsystem / component Design & Development of Locomotive / automobile / heavy industriesMust have Experience in CAD tools NX 10 & above and Teamcenter 11 & aboveShould have strong proven experience in handling customers across multiple geographies and meeting resp customers processes and standards Will be owning key CTQ like delivery, schedules, quality for all teams within multiple business unitsExperience in NPI projects, Fixture design development, structural calculations, bolted joint, weld joint calculationsAble to analyze shop issues and providing solutionsShould have worked on concept generation using idea generation methodsHave good knowledge on new component introduction process, FMEA and validation process of componentsShould be very good at GD&T, Tolerance stack-up, DFA/DFM/DFSKnowledge to Interpret FEA Analysis reportsStrong knowledge in Industry Codes and Engineering standards like ASME, ISO & European specific standardsShould have minimum 8+ years of experience as checker / Reviewer / SMEShould have worked with cross-functional team of Designers, Engineers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Field service and external consulting engineering teamsShould be able to generate Manufacturing drawings of various kinds (Sheetmetal, Castings, forgings, Welding) with application of GD&T as applicablePresent in meetings which will be scheduled with functional managers / CFT or toll gate reviewsShop floor experience in Sheetmetal, Casting, Forging, Metal joining techniques (Bolting, Welding, Riveting), plasticsShould have worked with cross-functional team of Designers, Engineers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Field service and external consulting engineering teams. To focus on value additions and cost savings beyond the expected tasks by customer like Poke-Yoke Methods
