As a Senior Lead Support Technician on the iOPS (Intelligent Operations Platform System) team, you will be at the forefront of transforming airport operations.

This role supports the development, testing, and deployment of advanced controls systems for aviation ground support equipment — including passenger boarding bridges, PCA units, GPUs, and related airside assets. You will work closely with internal engineering, field teams, and strategic customers to support control system design, diagnostics, and real-time data integration as we expand into AI, cloud computing and digital twin technologies.

This is a hands-on role requiring both lab-based development and on-site system testing in live airport environments.

YOUR IMPACT 

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Design, program, and test PLC-based control systems for airport equipment

Develop and troubleshoot HMI applications for both local and remote user interfaces

Write and debug code based on control specifications and system requirements

Participate in full system integration, including sensors, PLCs, networks, and cloud data flow

Travel to airport sites (up to 50%) for installation support, diagnostics, testing, and commissioning

Serve as a technical liaison with customers and field teams to resolve control system issues

Support integration of vibration sensors, edge AI devices, and Azure-connected equipment

Participate in the creation of system documentation, training materials, and control sequence diagrams

Actively contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement of deployed systems

Support HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) testing of prototypes and simulation of control logic

Provide field support via phone, email, and remote access, and escalate complex issues as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  

Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) years of experience in engineering or equivalent*.

Ability to travel 20-30%.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree with fifteen (15) years of experience in engineering or equivalent*.

Demonstrated ability to provide clear guidance at the project level to groups of technicians on daily tasks.

Foresight to address potential technical issues with vehicles and systems.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, government regulations and procedure manuals.

Pay Range:

$72,200.00 - $116,200.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
