As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorganChase within the Infrastructure and Production Management of Consumer & Community Banking team you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains.

Job responsibilities

Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needsConducts architecture and operational reviews focused on resiliency and scaleEvaluates recommendations and provides feedback on new technologiesExecutes creative infrastructure solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsTranslates enterprise architecture concepts into practical, actionable standards.Partners across Architecture, Engineering, DevRel, and SRE functionsContributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesParticipates in architecture governance bodiesDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of infrastructure applications and systems

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceStrong knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Familiarity with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and incident responseExperience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplinesAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architectureProficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleStrong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native patterns, and service reliabilityExpertise in one or more programming language(s)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsAbility to work horizontally across business units and technical teamsEffective communication, facilitation, and documentation skillsPrior Fin-tech background is preferred
