In this role, you will work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications. This work will support a mix of internal and external clients. You will work with clients, product managers, architects, software engineers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees.
You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code. Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.
To excel in this dynamic development role, you'll need deep expertise in Java and comprehensive knowledge of the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring JPA), paired with strong frontend skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Web Components, Micro Frontends (MFEs), Stencil JS, and modern frameworks like Angular or React. Your database proficiency should span both DynamoDB and Oracle, while you maintain a solid understanding of web services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems using Apache Kafka. Mastery of AWS services is essential—including SQS for messaging, EKS for container orchestration, DynamoDB for NoSQL data management, and S3 for scalable storage solutions. Given our agile sprint methodology, you'll seamlessly transition between frontend-intensive iterations focused on user experience, backend-heavy sprints emphasizing system architecture, or full-stack deliverables that bridge both domains. As a Senior Developer, you will work closely with your team to lead and guide projects to success. In the senior role, you will balance the assigning of user stories through prioritization and consideration of the technical interests of each developer on the team. **WHAT YOU'LL DO:**
**Here's what you can expect on a typical day:**
+ **Scrum.** You'll start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where you will present your work to up to 90 stakeholders.

+ **Variety of work.** There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments.
+ **Influence and inspire confidence.** You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.
+ **Experience.** You have 8-12 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
**TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:**
+ You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
+ You have worked as Full stack Developer with experience in C#/Java and Core Java development.
+ Strong Java programming skills with Spring Boot framework and enterprise application development.
+ Must have Python Development experience for backend services and automation.
+ Strong JavaScript and jQuery skills for frontend development.
+ Experience with Angular and React Native frameworks.
+ PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.
+ Must have database experience with DynamoDB, Oracle 11i, and DB2/SQL programming and designing skills.
+ Exposure to MongoDB is a plus.
+ Working experience with AWS Technologies including Lambda, Step functions, SQS, EC2, and API Gateway.
+ Experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics.
+ Strong understanding of OAuth, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and SSL/TLS security protocols.
+ Unit testing experience in Selenium, JUnit, and Mocha testing frameworks.
+ DevOps and CI/CD exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, and Ansible.
+ Experience with tools including Atlassian Jira, Splunk, Jenkins, and Apache Kafka.
+ Frontend development skills with Bootstrap framework.
+ Understanding of Design Patterns and Web Services architecture.
+ Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
+ Exposure to Artificial Intelligence technologies and frameworks.
+ Experience with ADP Payroll Software is a plus.
+ Worked on at least one or more complex software system (design and implementation) using microservices architecture.
+ Worked in an Agile development methodology, navigated the entire life cycle in multiple projects (grooming, planning, sprint, demos, retrospectives).
+ Working experience in developing frameworks and software components for cloud native architectural systems.
+ Ability to work with cloud services to deploy builds using CI & CD pipeline with Docker and Kubernetes.
+ Work with product owners and development team members to determine new features and user stories for applications.
+ Create or update documentation in support of development efforts including detailed specifications and implementation guides.
+ Understand and promote automated testing practices using Selenium, JUnit, and Mocha frameworks.
+ Participate in code reviews and enforce code standards using Git workflows and CI/CD processes.
+ Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
+ Must have experience working with Git version control and Jenkins for continuous integration.
+ Strong experience with AWS Lambda functions and Step functions for serverless architecture.
+ Experience with message queuing systems like SQS and Apache Kafka.
+ Understanding of API Gateway configuration and management.
+ Knowledge of monitoring and logging using Splunk.
+ Must be an independent self-starter with superior time management skills.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Work as a team in a fast-paced agile environment with DevOps practices.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $91,900.00 - $246,240.00 / Year*
*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
