Senior Lead, Sourcing – ClarusONE Sourcing Services, LLP

Job Purpose 

The Senior Lead, Sourcing is a pivotal role focused on driving value creation and risk mitigation across ClarusONE’s pharmaceutical supply chain. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or generics, who can lead strategic initiatives and collaborate across functions to enhance supply stability and resilience. 

Key Responsibilities 

Identify supplier/product opportunities to drive value and supply resilience, with measurable impact within six months. 

Lead sourcing initiatives, including innovative negotiation strategies and new sourcing models, particularly within generic Rx and OTC pharmaceuticals. 

Develop and execute category strategies and action plans for assigned pharmaceutical product categories. 

Collaborate with supplier-facing teams and negotiate with pharmaceutical manufacturers to achieve strategic outcomes. 

Work with analytics teams to develop risk-based decision-making frameworks. 

Support execution of new sourcing models, including supplier identification and performance tracking. 

Participate in supplier business reviews to align on strategy and drive initiatives. 

Act as a sourcing expert and business partner across ClarusONE. 

Mentor and coach junior team members. 

Requirements 

Education & Experience 

Bachelor’s degree (preferred fields: Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Business). 

Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing or category management with a strong preference for experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or generics sectors. 

Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is highly desirable. 

Knowledge & Skills 

Proven experience in category management, supplier negotiations, and contract management. 

Strong analytical skills, including financial/spend analysis and data synthesis. 

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. 

Strong project management and organizational capabilities. 

Ability to work cross-functionally and across cultures. 

Experience developing and executing business cases. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau skills preferred. 

Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain, especially in generics and OTC products, is a significant advantage.
