The opportunity
Join QBE in shaping a culture of accountability and integrity at the executive level.
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Accountability Senior Lead to help embed and manage a robust Executive Accountability framework across QBE Group and its Divisions.
Your new role
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of governance, compliance, and leadership, ensuring our organisation meets its obligations under the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR).
Key responsibilities include:
Maintain QBE’s Group-wide Executive Accountability framework to support compliance with legislative obligations and alignment with best practice governance.
Act as a trusted advisor to Accountable Persons and their teams—providing guidance, tools, and support to help them meet their accountability obligations confidently and consistently.
Oversee the end-to-end registration of Accountable Persons, including, documentation, and ongoing compliance tracking.
Manage the preparation of APRA FAR notifications
Play a pivotal role in enhancing/developing processes and systems to meet accountability and notification obligations, driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
About you:
You will be dedicated to excellence, innovation, and integrity whilst navigating the complex regulatory landscape and ensuring accountability at every level of our organisation.
Highly experienced in compliance, risk, regulatory or governance, preferably within a large financial services organisation
Strong understanding of executive accountability legislation and frameworks.
Experience with drafting formal or corporate documentation, including policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to develop a detailed understanding of the requirements of legislation
Demonstrated ability to develop detailed knowledge of business processes
Strong communication skills, both written & oral.
