The Role
Join Kyndryl as a Data Analyst where you will unlock the power of data to drive strategic decisions and shape the future of our business. As a key member of our team, you will harness your expertise in basic statistics, business fundamentals, and communication to uncover valuable insights and transform raw data into rigorous visualizations and compelling stories.
This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by translating client challenges into actionable use cases and data requirements for our development and data science teams.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on analyst with strong technical skills, a passion for storytelling through data, and the ability to engage directly with stakeholders. You will conduct your own data analysis, build compelling visualizations, and present insights that drive strategic decisions.
Kyndryl is a global, largely remote company, where you will be part of a fast-moving, collaborative team of analytics professionals. You’ll work closely with HR leaders, developers, and data scientists to co-create solutions that influence enterprise strategy and impact tens of thousands of employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Analytics Translation
Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical use cases and technical requirements.Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.Hands-On Data Analysis
Perform independent data exploration, cleaning, and analysis to uncover trends and insights.Use statistical and analytical techniques to support workforce planning and decision-making.Visualization & Storytelling
Design and deliver impactful dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Workday PRISM, One Model, and Microsoft Fabric.Present findings in a clear, compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaboration & Solution Design
Work with data engineers and scientists to develop scalable analytics solutions.Support the development of predictive models and automation pipelines.

Who You Are
5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics consulting.
Proven ability to translate business needs into analytical use cases and technical requirements.
Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data analysis, including data wrangling, statistical modeling, and visualization.
Strong experience with Analytics and Business Intelligence platforms such as Microsoft Power BI (Fabric), Workday PRISM, One Model, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
Demonstrated ability to independently conduct data exploration, build dashboards, and present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and influence decision-making.
Nice to have Cloud platform certification, e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and collaborating with developers, data scientists, and business leaders.
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, global environment with a diverse and collaborative team.
Bonus points for experience in workforce analytics, HR data, or professional services environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Data Science, experience with predictive analytics and machine learning models.
