Position Overview The Senior Product Launch Manager is a strategic individual responsible for driving the success of complex, high-impact product launches and shaping the organization's go-to-market (GTM) launch framework. This role goes beyond execution to define best practices, mentor launch managers, and influence cross-functional strategies to ensure consistent, scalable, and measurable outcomes. The Senior Product Launch Manager partners closely with executives, product leadership, and cross-functional teams to align launches with business objectives, maximize adoption, and continuously improve launch effectiveness across the portfolio. Primary Responsibilities + Strategic Go-To-Market Leadership + Define and evolve the company’s GTM launch framework to ensure scalability and consistency across products. + Drive GTM strategies for the most complex or high-visibility launches, aligning efforts with company goals and market dynamics. + Partner with Product and Marketing leadership to influence positioning, messaging, and competitive strategy based on market insights. + Serve as the escalation point for launch risks, providing executive-level recommendations and trade-off analyses. + Portfolio and Program Management + Oversee a portfolio of launches, ensuring prioritization and resource alignment across teams. + Establish and manage governance for launch readiness, including key decision gates and executive sign-offs. + Define KPIs and dashboards to measure launch performance and enable data-driven decision-making at the portfolio level. + Drive post-launch assessments to identify trends and inform future strategy. + Internal Readiness and Enablement + Lead the development of enterprise-wide enablement strategies, ensuring consistency of messaging, training, and materials across launches. + Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Support leadership to ensure teams are not only trained but also confident and equipped to drive adoption. + Anticipate organizational gaps or change management needs tied to major launches and develop strategies to address them. + Cross-Functional Influence and Stakeholder Management + Act as a thought partner to senior executives, providing insights and recommendations on launch strategies and organizational readiness. + Build strong relationships across Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Legal to drive alignment and resolve conflicts at a strategic level. + Mentor and coach Launch Managers and Coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement. + Continuous Improvement and Innovation + Identify and implement best practices for launch management, leveraging learnings from past launches and industry benchmarks. + Drive adoption of tools and processes to increase efficiency, visibility, and scalability of launch operations. + Champion a metrics-driven culture by defining standards for success measurement and communicating results across the organization. Education and Experience + Experience: 8-12 years in Enterprise Software, IT, or related industries, with at least 5 years focused on product launches, GTM strategies, or program management. Experience leading complex, multi-product, or global launches strongly preferred. + Leadership: Proven ability to mentor teams, influence cross-functional leaders, and engage with executives to drive strategic outcomes. + Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated success shaping frameworks, processes, and strategies that scale across organizations. + Project & Program Management: Advanced expertise in managing large-scale initiatives, including governance, risk management, and resource planning. + Executive-Level Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complexity into clear narratives for senior leadership. + Metrics-Driven: Experience defining and driving portfolio-level metrics to measure launch success and inform strategic decisions. + Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred. + Industry Knowledge: Experience in HCM or similar SaaS industries is a plus, not required. + Travel: Occasional travel may be required. Physical requirements + Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day. + Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. The pay range for this position is $120k - $150/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
