We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with at least 8 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, is highly experienced in building scalable backend systems using Java, and has strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. You will be working on mission-critical systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Night shift work is required to align with our global teams and clients.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java-based applications and services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Product Managers, and other developers.Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.Apply best practices in software engineering, coding standards, and design patterns.Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.Design and implement microservices or serverless architectures (preferably on AWS).Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Java development.Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles.Solid experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, etc.Experience in RESTful API development and integrations.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).Comfortable working in a night shift schedule (to support global operations).Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have 

AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Exposure to frontend technologies or full-stack development.Prior experience in leading technical initiatives or managing small development teams.
