Kforce has a client that is seeking a highly experienced and technically exceptional Senior Java Developer to lead the development of high-volume, real-time streaming applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, understands production support inside and out, and can architect resilient systems that run autonomously in production. Key Responsibilities: * Design and develop advanced Java applications for real-time message processing using streaming data * Build and deploy applications in Kubernetes, ensuring automatic scaling and high availability * Integrate with Azure Event Tab (JetBlue's alternative to Kafka) for streaming infrastructure * Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, and preferably Azure Cosmos DB * Implement advanced concepts for NoSQL data modeling and performance optimization * Embed production-grade features into the application including CPU tuning, logging, and monitoring * Provide hands-on production support, ensuring systems are self-healing and resilient * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operations
