Your ability to accelerate impact and make meaningful change for your clients is enabled by our strategic partner ecosystem and our robust technology platforms across the IBM portfolio **Your role and responsibilities** * Work in an agile, project-centric, team-focused environment. * Be involved in every step of the process, from design and development to testing, releasing changes, and troubleshooting where necessary, providing excellent customer service. * Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing functionality, with the support of the architect. * Drive key discussions with stakeholders and analyze the current landscape for opportunities to implement and code creative solutions. * Establish processes, procedures, and guidelines for technical work within the project. * Continuously learn new methodologies and technologies. * Share your knowledge within your team and organization. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Solid work experience with Java and/or Spring Boot. * Expertise with SQL and NoSQL databases. * Strong understanding of microservices architecture. * Experience developing cloud-native applications for at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud). * Experience with containers (Docker, Podman) and Kubernetes or OpenShift. * Ready to work in an Agile/DevOps environment. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience/knowledge of additional programming languages/frameworks (like Node.js, Go, Python, or .NET). * Cloud certification. * Hands-on experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs. * Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. * Active contribution to IT communities, sharing knowledge and driving technical excellence. * Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and Cucumber. * Prior experience in mentoring junior developers or leading technical teams is advantageous.
