Lead Java developer with experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE based web applications with good skills in JavaScript for development of Risk and Finance dashboard application that provides sensitive data to senior management. Application involves business process workflow and analytical data, Web front end development using JavaScript.   The candidate must have software development experience in Java with expert level skill set in Core Java, Spring, Web Services and J2EE.  Should be able to design, review and suggest improvements, guide junior team members and deliver in an agile environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Expert level knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Batch, RESTful Web services, design patterns  and databasesExperience in Big Data Technologies like Hadoop, Mongo DB, Kafka, Elastic Search.Strong computer science fundamentals  in data structures, algorithms, databases and operating systemsExperience developing high-performance multi-threaded applicationsProficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, JSONThorough understanding of server side integration, Restful, Spring MVC, web servicesGood knowledge of design patterns  and providing solutions to complex design issues, identify and fix code issuesGood skills in web servers such as WebSphere, WASNDParticipate and contribute in design, architectural solutionsExperience with source code management tools such as SVN, BitbucketCritically evaluate the current processing and recommend process efficiencies / enhancementsWork closely with Technology partners to ensure the Business requirements are met by the development

Project Management and Reporting

Job Skills/Qualifications (5000 characters or less):

6+ years experienced  in implementing enterprise level Java Development projects. Banking operations professional with knowledge of trade processing flows through regulatory impacts of operational processingExperience in Compliance or Financial Sector is plus.AngularJS, CSS, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, Spring MVC, JavaScript based web application, JavaScript ,HTML5, AJAX, JSON, AngularJS, RESTful Web services, design patterns and databasesStrong technical skills focused on data analysis. Must have experience with mainstream data analysis tools ( Excel , Access etc)Strong written and oral communication skillsStrong business analytical skills 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred
