About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our global Compensation and Operation Skill Management with SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, Performance and Succession & Development modules in its core. This role sits at the intersection of technology, process, and service delivery, ensuring our solutions are stable, efficient, and continuously evolving to meet business needs.
Your day-to-day
• Ensure stable business-as-usual (BAU) operations for Compensation and Operation Skill Management processes and systems
• Own and manage the continuous improvement backlog in close collaboration with process owners—overseeing initiatives from definition through to implementation
• Engage solution architects and subject matter experts (SMEs) to refine and deliver more complex enhancements
• Manage release cycles for SAP SuccessFactors in Compensation and Skills Management areas, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders
• Lead a small team of system experts responsible for configuration, issue resolution, and incident management in scope
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of upstream and downstream system changes
• Oversee diverse technology landscape, including a central SaaS platform, critical integrations, and complementary satellite systems
• Ensure compliance with SLA, global IT policies, regulations, and security standards for all services under management
• Oversee delivery performance of external partners and contractors, including light vendor management activities
What is needed to succeed in this Role?
• Proven experience in service or systems management within HR, compensation, or enterprise SaaS environments
• SAP SuccessFactors Compensation experience of 4 years+, including working as functional lead is a must, Employee Central, PMGM, or Succession - optional
• Demonstrated success in managing system operations, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience managing technical teams, including external vendors or contract staff
• Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with system integration landscapes and SaaS-based enterprise applications
• Solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and frameworks
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders
