**Position Summary**
Are you a project and portfolio specialist passionate about IT and looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy managing complex global projects and services that bring long term strategic business benefit? As our Senior Product Project and Portfolio specialist, you oversee our key projects, manage our Digital Workplace project portfolio investments, and direct our global license management processes. You facilitate the planning, decision-making, and execution required to deliver strategic objectives. In this role, you will oversee key projects, ensuring that our project leaders have an approved budget, defined benefits, and consistent portfolio financial elements. As new services reach maturity, you ensure SaaS licenses and services charges are distributed to our internal customers based on utilization.
**A Day in the Life of… a Product Project & Portfolio Specialist**
+ Engage key stakeholders (Product Group Managers, Zone Functional Relationship Managers, etc.) to define the Project Portfolio and ensure alignment to our objectives.
+ Define and maintain an up-to-date portfolio structure that aligns with IT strategy and organizational needs, coordinating the demand management, evaluation, prioritization, execution, and value measurement of product and project portfolios.
+ Ensure visibility of trends and forecasts versus plans, recommend strategic adaptations, and provide transparency to key stakeholders about the portfolio's value and plans.
+ Ensure and balance the availability of the required skills, competencies, and budget across teams within the product portfolio.
+ Support our product teams, driving strategic alignment and value realization by coordinating resources, managing dependencies, and ensuring transparent reporting across our key projects and portfolios.
+ Facilitate the adoption of Product Management best practices in alignment with IT frameworks and guidelines to support the effective development and operation of service delivery models that coordinate and prioritize resources across all major initiatives.
+ Help product managers and project managers identify, prioritize, and coordinate resources engaged in key initiatives; help them plan and organize activities, coordinate resources, raise risks and issues, and management their project communications.
+ Track and manage dependencies across projects; lead escalation processes to make issues visible to stakeholders and Leadership Team; drive resolution of dependency issues.
+ Recommend the investments and capabilities to prioritize with the budget planning and benefit realization assistance to ensure the success of our product and project portfolio.
+ Ensure proper and timely communications and reporting around the Product Group’s projects and portfolios, including their content and performance.
**What else will make you successful?**
+ Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, business administration, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
+ 5+ years’ experience in Portfolio Management, Project Management, Agile, and IS/IT roles with at least three (3) years managing technology related portfolios.
+ Experience managing diverse technology portfolios, applying expertise across multiple technologies and frameworks (ITIL) to ensure effective global virtual team collaboration.
+ Experience analyzing data and turning findings into actionable insights and recommendations for business planning and program evaluation.
+ Experience in finance management (budget planning, actual and forecast), business case development, and benefit realization.
+ Demonstrated experience in managing "upward" among senior leadership and in participating into strategic prioritization and complex governance initiatives.
+ Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote) .
+ Experience providing portfolio guidance and advice to product and project teams.
+ Certifications in Management of Portfolios (MOP), Scrum Master, and/or project management (Prince2, PMI, PMP, etc.) will give you an advantage.
