Job Title: Senior IT Project Lead Primary Location: Washington, DC Clearance: Top-Secret (TS) Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Lead to manage, lead, and coordinate complex information technology projects for a mission-critical program in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT project leadership, a strategic mindset, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively between technical teams and business stakeholders Responsibilities: + Plan, initiate, and manage complex IT projects across their full lifecycle. + Lead and guide technical teams, ensuring project goals, schedules, and standards are met. + Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to align objectives and expectations. + Develop detailed project plans, set milestones, and evaluate business impacts at each stage of development. + Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines, performance standards, and cost targets. + Provide status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders. + Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, standards, and security requirements. Required Qualifications: + Active Top Secret clearance is required. + U.S. Citizenship is required. + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field + Minimum of 8 years of experience managing IT projects in a technical or government environment + In lieu of 8 years of experience, equivalent certifications or past demonstrable work may be considered Preferred Qualifications: + Strong leadership and team management skills + Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities + Proven experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models) + PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications highly desirable + Familiarity with federal IT policies, cybersecurity compliance, and secure IT environments IMTS is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
