Senior IT Pillar Specialist - AVEVA P&ID Administrator
**Job Overview:** The Senior IT Pillar Specialist - AVEVA P&ID Administrator uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the IT Pillar discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the IT Pillar discipline. They solve complex problems and use their discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior IT Pillar Specialist impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the IT Pillar team and other related teams and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies. The Senior IT Pillar Specialist - AVEVA P&ID Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the AVEVA P&ID application, which is used for creating and managing engineering Process diagrams. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Provide support and development of existing Hyperion Planning applications (on-prem) as the company implements EPBCS +  Work with consultants and internal team to implement EPBCS with Financial and Project modules including business rules, substitution variables, user security model, web forms, etc. + Collaborate and drive strategic thinking in the development of forecasting models for large projects, metadata management, and data integration + Provide input for functional and technical design and then deliver on the development of those design decisions + Assist in SIT and UAT of various EPM application implementations + Work with EPM/Hyperion vendor to pursue vendor support when necessary + Work with business and IT teams to disposition incidents as either a bug or an enhancement and drive a regular prioritization of their respective execution + Define requirements in accordance with SDLC, management, and project/product scope Ensure problem statements and objectives are clearly defined + Ensure requirements are aligned with project scope, objectives, and strategies + Ensure the PLM system functionality meets the business objectives of the Design and Global Sourcing organization + Analyze business process flow and use case; create business requirements for any system or process changes necessary to ensure efficient and seamless operations + Provide weekly status updates on progress toward deliverables and milestones + System Configuration and Customization: + Install & configure AVEVA P&ID application, including creation of required databases based on project needs + Setting up and configuring AVEVA P&ID project including MS SQL DB to meet project requirements + Define project structures, create seed file, and configure project settings (e.g., naming conventions, revision control) + Develop and maintain component catalogs, piping specifications, and symbol libraries + Define and manage property attributes, class structures, and tagging rules in compliance with project standards + Maintaining adequate & appropriate licenses for project execution & integration + User Account Management: + Managing user accounts and permissions within the software + Setting up user roles and ensuring appropriate access to features and functions + Data Management, Integrity & Validation: + Maintaining project data integrity and security + Creating, updating, and managing project data + Implement consistency checks, error tracking, and enforce design rules through AVEVA Engineering Validation tools + Perform SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting within AVEVA P&ID databases + Interoperability & Integration: + Configure AVEVA P&ID for integration with AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Instrumentation, and third-party tools + Reporting & Data Extraction: + Generate automated reports (line lists, equipment lists, valve lists) using AVEVA reporting tools + Technical Support: + Providing technical support to the project team + Troubleshooting issues and ensuring the software functions correctly + Conduct training sessions for users to enhance their expertise in utilizing the software effectively **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field + Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT supporting EPCI business applications as a lead or administrator + Experience in and understanding of Accounting (P&L, BS, Cash Flow) + Ability to work as a team member as well as act as a team leader + Have wide experience with technical experiences + Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken + Strong finance and accounting background coupled with a strong track record in administering and implementing EPM/Hyperion-related technology projects in large and complex environments + Strong hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and developing solutions 3DEXP Platform 201X and/or ENVOVIA V6 and several of their corresponding modules + Experience with Dassault PLM Enovia 3D Experience 2017 + Advanced education (i.e., MBA or other master’s level education) preferred but not required + Degree in engineering or equivalent technical diploma with strong understanding of current Engineering and design processes. Good understanding of engineering practices & project execution concepts. + **Strong understanding of AVEVA P&ID Software:** In-depth knowledge of the software's functionality and features + Project specific Symbol & Stencil creation + Template creation + UDET & UDA creation in lexicon and troubleshooting experience. + Data reports for Pipelines & Pipeline components creation + Understanding of PML for macros + Understating Data integration with other AVEVA Tools + **Experience in Software Configuration and Management:** Ability to set up and manage software configurations. + **Project Management Knowledge:** Understanding of project management principles and practices. + **Industry Knowledge:** Familiarity with the engineering and construction industries. + **Communication Skills:** Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders. + **Problem-Solving Skills:** Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively \#LI-MW2 Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
