Job Description

As an Senior IT Engineer Active Directory (m/f/diverse) you are part of a motivated, collaborative and skilled team of Directory Services Specialists in a global environment which is managing our enterprise-level Active Directory (AD) infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting complex AD issues, ensuring the stability, security, efficiency of our directory services and collaborating with other IT teams and service providers to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of Active Directory in a MS TIER-ModelTroubleshoot and resolve complex AD-related issues in close cooperation with the specialists, external partners, vendors and other IT teamsDevelop and enforce AD security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standardsPerform regular audits and health checks of the AD environment to identify and resolve potential issuesEnsure synchronization of Entra ID data from on-premises Active DirectoryConsulting and 3rd Level Support for Active Directory, Azure AD and Federation Services for all internal customers in ContinentalAssist customers in implementing Active Directory services or linking their services to Active DirectoryAnalysis, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies related to Active Directory in ContiTechParticipating in IT and business projects related to Active Directory implementation in ContiTechDevelop and maintain documentation for AD configurations, processes, and procedures

QualificationsUniversity degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related fieldExperience in AD service administration in a multi-domain forest, enterprise environment Experience in installing Domain Controllers, maintaining and troubleshooting AD site and services and FRS/DFSR replication structuresStrong knowledge of AD replication, topology, troubleshooting, monitoring and auditing toolsExperiences in scripting with PowerShell.Good knowledge in Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019 and 2022Familiarity with AD integration with other systems and applicationsBasic server hardware knowledgeRelevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA and Experience in managing Entra ID and with Red Forest administration is a plusKnowledge of ITIL with respect to Incident and Change Management is a plusFluent in English (written and spoken)Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with othersAbility to creatively solve problems with minimal guidance, while maintaining a timely, cost-effective approach
