Senior IT Business Analyst

Data Governance & Enablement is charged with:

Access management and information security of Asia Enterprise Data Lake (EDL)Data governance framework within AsiaData quality and access oversightGovernance reporting and transparencyCommunication and collaboration

The Senior IT Business Analyst team member will deliver outcomes based on tactical and strategic priorities set by the Head of Data Enablement & Governance.

Position Responsibilities:

Access Framework

Own the access framework for Asia EDLDeliver on standards, processes and procedures associated with the access frameworkPartner with different markets in Asia to implement

Metadata Management

Develop, implement, and maintain metadata standards and best practices to ensure data is correctly classified, organized, and accessible.Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure metadata requirements are met and integrated into various systems.Quality Control: Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of metadata.

Information Security

Support implementation of Information Security standardsSupport rollout of related tools and automation

Strategy

Assist in development and implementation of Data Enablement framework and processesContribute to the development and implementation of the Asia Data strategyLead internal and external reviews/ audits pertaining to access and information security

Leadership

Lead by example and develop team culture which is:AccountableInnovativeService-mindedMentor peers and indirect reportsConduct training/ refresher sessions for data users and other related communities

Required Qualifications:

Education & experience

Degree or equivalent experience in: Library Sciences, Computer Sciences, Cyber or Information Security8+ years of progressive responsibility and accountability in one or more of: Information Security, records handling in large organizations, development of organization-wide data policies and processes, experience in managing Information security in large organizations is an asset

Technical proficiency

Understanding of one or more of the following tools and platforms are helpful:

Apache Ranger and Apache AtlasDatabricks Unity CatalogInformatica Data QualityCollibra Data Governance CentreMicrosoft PurviewBasic understanding of databases such as SQL, Oracle, NoSQLMicrosoft Office suite including Word, Excel, MS Project and SharePoint

Competencies

Demonstrated understanding of data management and information securityAbility to interpret and translate terminology between technical and business usersChange champion – actively identify opportunities for improvement and ability to implement changes successfullyCollaborate with geographically and culturally diverse teams across various geographiesSelf-sufficientEffective analysis and presentation skillsLead through coaching and mentorshipAbove average written and oral communication skills in the English language

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is highly desirable
