Execute audit fieldwork including testing the design and operating effectiveness of controls.Serve as a key contact with client management, explaining the audit process and scope, keeping management apprised of audit progress and issues, and effectively delivering audit results to all levels of management.Assist in the execution of Internal Audit innovation activities such as those around advanced data analytics, audit process automation and continuous auditing.Stay abreast of company business strategies, IT industry technology advances and the risk profile of assigned business areas to ensure relevancy of audit approach.Position reports to the New York, New York office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Security, or related field.

Position requires experience in the following skills:

 

Information security, HPE Nonstop, Windows, Linux, SQL, mobile payments, tokenized services, cloud-based and virtualized environments, IBM mainframe, or HadoopEvaluating system controls associated with complex business applicationsAudit experience in a large financial institutionWorking on audit project teams in a complex operational and regulatory environment.

Experience in the skills can be gained through academic coursework and/or work experience.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

 

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $105,019.00 USD to $159,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
