About the Role
MSIM Asia is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Investment Specialist to represent our public market investment capabilities in Asia. It is a dynamic role that serves as the bridge between investment capabilities and client coverage to unlock the value of our broad investment platform in meeting the needs of institutional and intermediary clients.
The Senior Investment Specialist will cultivate strong relationships with our global investment teams and deep knowledge of our investment strategies to serve as a local expert in our capabilities to enhance client engagement. With the Sales Teams having primary responsibility for client relationships, this role will serve as a partner to provide them leverage in identifying, qualifying and advancing opportunities.
The individual will work directly with our sales teams to support the delivery of our fixed income, equities and multi-asset capabilities to clients in the region. By bringing expertise across our investment platform and identifying relevant solutions, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth across and ensuring effective, timely client service.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships with the Investment Teams and build deep knowledge across our investment capabilities, offerings and access vehicles.
Partner with Sales Teams to identify new business opportunities and drive business growth for our fixed income, equities and multi-asset capabilities.
Support market analysis, client segmentation and product prioritization to formulate sales strategies by asset class and geography.
Engage with clients in conjunction with Sales to understand their investment needs and challenges.
Develop and present tailored investment solutions to meet specific client requirements.
Serve as a resource to the Sales Teams and Investment Teams in being responsive to client requests and delivering high-quality content.
Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities and anticipate client needs to design sales strategies and prioritize products.
Collaborate with Product Development teams in creating bespoke solutions that address client requirements.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure business.
Proactively produce content, support product onboarding and conduct trainings for distributors.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of investment solutions.
Provide outstanding support, service and advice to clients.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results.

Qualifications and Qualities
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in asset management or financial services.
Proven track record of developing and delivering investment solutions to institutional and/or intermediary clients.
Investment and markets acumen with the ability to synthesize, distill, and articulate investment strategies in a straightforward manner.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated strength in building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
