Senior Investment Analyst
Description We are looking for a Senior Investment Analyst to join our team in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This role focuses on conservative investment strategies, emphasizing capital preservation, risk management, and stable long-term returns. You will play a key role in evaluating market trends, conducting in-depth financial analyses, and supporting portfolio management to align with client objectives. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed financial analysis, modeling, and valuation of a variety of assets, including equities, fixed income securities, and alternative investments. • Monitor macroeconomic trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform conservative investment strategies. • Perform comprehensive due diligence on current and prospective investments, prioritizing low-risk and income-generating opportunities. • Assist portfolio managers in building and maintaining portfolios that emphasize stability, liquidity, and long-term wealth preservation. • Prepare in-depth investment reports, recommendations, and presentations for internal committees and clients. • Assess credit quality, interest rate exposure, and risk-adjusted performance in fixed income and cash management vehicles. • Collaborate with senior leaders to refine investment policies, asset allocation models, and compliance frameworks for conservative portfolios. • Provide guidance to entry-level analysts, fostering a culture of disciplined research and prudent decision-making. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA preferred). • At least 5 years of experience in investment research or portfolio analysis, with a focus on conservative strategies. • Certification in Series 7 or Series 65 (or willingness to obtain certification within a designated timeframe). • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in financial modeling and tools like Excel and Bloomberg. • Comprehensive knowledge of fixed income markets, dividend-paying equities, and conservative alternative investments. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts. • Proven ability to balance detailed analysis with practical decision-making to achieve client goals.
