1. Provides assistance to gaming license applicants, collects required background documents, updates licensing files, and creates and issues badges.
2. Fields front desk calls and electronic inquiries, answers questions, and updates licensing database with all relevant information.
3. Provides training and mentoring to Investigative Assistants in the duties and responsibilities of the role. Keeps management appraised of the Investigative Assistant Teams’ workload. Recommends shifts in duties across the department based on caseload and time management. Acts as second tier support for escalated issues.
4. Assists Licensing Supervisors with work schedule creation and adjustments as needed. Assists in the preparation of monthly and annual departmental reports, as directed.
5. Reviews and audits licensing files in licensing database, to ensure that the data entry and all required information and documents are present, accurate and comply with State, Federal and Tribal laws, rules, and regulations.
6. Reviews and audits daily, weekly and monthly Live Scan fingerprint results to ensure that the Licensing team stays in compliance with all State, Federal and Tribal laws, rules, and regulations.
7. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of administrative experience in a professional environment with a focus on data entry, filing, record management and reception required.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (Ksa)General proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
Must possess strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Must demonstrate excellent people skills, including the ability to establish rapport quickly and communicate well with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Must have excellent problem solving, organization, time-management and prioritization skills.
Must be comfortable with speaking and providing instructions in both individual and group settings.
Licenses, Certifications And RegistrationsAt the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Authorized Driver: Role requires operation or driving of Tribe-owned vehicles or driving patron vehicles. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier is required.

Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.
Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
