How will you make a difference?

Strategic Account Management:Drive significant revenue growth and market share expansion for Mors Smitt's railway product portfolio across Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe.Develop and execute comprehensive regional business strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve long-term sustainable growth.Develop and execute a comprehensive KEY account plan for important customers (Siemens, Stadler, Alstom), aligning with their strategic objectives and our company's sales goals.Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders within these accounts.Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing projects and emerging initiatives.Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to identify potential areas for growth.Sales Execution & Business Development:Drive the sales process from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting.Present technical solutions and product demonstrations to customers, highlighting the value proposition and addressing their specific needs.Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management, marketing) to develop customized solutions and support sales efforts.Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.Expand the number of product lines sold into each key account.Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge:Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, including relays, circuit breakers, sensors, cables, and related components.Provide technical expertise and support to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any technical issues.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.Translate customer technical requirements into viable product solutions.Relationship Management & Communication:Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at Siemens and Alstom.Serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts, ensuring clear and consistent communication.Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, progress, and forecasts.Work with global teams within the key accounts.Reporting and Analysis:Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

What do we want to know about you?

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.Minimum of 5-7 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.Proven track record of success in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.Strong technical knowledge of relays, circuit breakers, sensors, cables, and related components.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in CRM (SalesForce) software and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience selling into key accounts is a significant plus.Ability to travel up to 40-50% and as required.Based out of The NetherlandsFluent in English and Dutch; other relevant languages are a plus.

What will your typical day look like?

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Sales Executive to drive significant business growth within our key accounts, e.g. Siemens, Stadler and Alstom, for the railway industry.

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand our railway market share and cultivate strong, long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, deep understanding of component sales (relays, circuit breakers, sensors), and a proven track record of success in managing complex sales cycles within large, multinational organizations.

Successful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations.
