This analytical position involves a range of responsibilities, including allowance reviews, margin queries, sales forecasting, and month-end processing. This position also leverages expertise in Excel analysis, Microstrategy/Incorta reports, Alteryx workflows, and Atlassian documentation to deliver insights that drive our business forward.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-
Lead complex margin analysis projects and provide recommendations to senior management on pricing strategies to maximize profitabilityCollaborate with IT and other departments to design and implement new analytical tools and systemsLead cross-functional projects to improve pricing processes and data integrity across international operationsDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in international subsidiaries to ensure effective communication of pricing strategiesIdentify opportunities for margin improvement and lead initiatives to capitalize on these opportunitiesAnalyze and submit price requests from each subsidiary to management for approvalManage ad hoc requests related to customer margin, terms, and allowancesEnsure net margins are maintained for all business units and summarized for upper managementCompile and manipulate large amounts of data from multiple systems then analyze and presents findings in a clear formatPropose and create Alteryx workflows for complex analysis and automation of routine tasksAnalyze complex business problems and assess how automated systems can be implemented to solve themCreate reports and pull data for ad hoc analysis from MicroStrategy/Incorta business intelligence tool and various systemsCollaborate with manager and team to review, archive, and escalate tasks via the group email inbox or other sourcesOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS-
Experienced with wholesale customer data, terms, and sales processesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior executivesAbility to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesHigh-level analytical and problem-solving skillsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required4+ years’ experience as an analyst in a sales or finance organizationAbility to analyze complex models in Excel and Alteryx.Experience developing capabilities in Microstrategy/Incorta and Alteryx$90-$110K-ANNUALLY
