Senior Interior Designer Job ID 219762 Posted 16-May-2025 Service line PJM Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Design Location(s) Pittsburgh - Pennsylvania - United States of America **About the Role:** As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for the initial steps of design and site analysis -Programming, Feasibility Plans and Test-fits. You will work with external design partners through Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Design and Construction Administration to ensure the client’s standards and desired look and feel are established and maintained throughout the project. This role is hybrid and will require the selected candidate to report to the client’s Pittsburgh, PA office a minimum of 4 days per week. **What you’ll do:** · Evaluate program fit for potential new sites by providing block plans or test-fits · Lead the development of interior fit-out for multiple projects · Collaborate with project managers, client stakeholders, and external design and technical partners · Oversee selections of products, materials and finishes. This includes architectural finishes, lighting, and furniture · Review architectural design and furniture presentations to ensure adherence to client standards for furniture and general look and feel of the space · Review construction documents for alignment with client standards and design intent · Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and contribute to design solutions · Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines · Ensure the highest standards of design quality and creativity are maintained throughout the design process · Adhere to design standards and best practices. · Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company values. **What you’ll need:** Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. · Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial workplace design. · Current NCIDQ preferred. · Strong design and technical skills, as well as knowledge of building and life safety codes and ADA guidelines. · Exceptional presentation, organizational, collaborative and communication skills. · Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Revit experience a plus. · Knowledge of CAFM systems a plus. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at various stages while meeting all deliverables and deadlines. · Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve design challenges. · Familiarity with design trends materials, construction techniques and furnishings. · Ability to report to client’s offices in Pittsburgh a minimum of four days per week. **Disclaimer:** Please be advised that effective January 1, 2025, CBRE Project Management and Turner &Townsend was consolidated into a single global business entity.
