Senior Intercompany Analyst

In this role You will:

Accountable for oversseing delivery of silent running, accurate and timely recording of all Intercompany transactions

Adhere with the tasks outlined in the EMS/QMS Systems of GBS 

Support the team leader to ensure that the HUB intercompany processes are aligned with the Group Intercompany Policies and Procedures and liaises with Outsourced Service Providers to ensure the relevant outputs are in line with requirements

Monitor and coordinate KPI collections and distribution to business partners

Supervise, challenge and improve intercompany activities of Outsourced Service Provider

Support cross functional activities/initiatives with other GBS towers to raise awareness of and adherence to the IC policy and to improve intercompany processes.

Act as project owner of any Intercompany related projects.

Monitor and review of monthly provision reports and the cross border transactions, work with system accountant on interface issues and credit back transactions raising issues to the team leader as appropriate.

Ensure that disputes are monitored and resolved in a timely manner, intervening and raising disputes according to Group Policies.

Work with Group Accounts Team to ensure all disputes are minimized by addressing route causes of disputes raised.

Review and Support of Monthly/quarterly reconciliations of Intercompany accounts in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable - Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the various Intercompany and suspense account reconciliations performed by Intercompany Analysts or Outsourced Service Provider

Ensure all reconciling items are followed up on a timely basis;

Liaise with GR Lead analyst to ensure smooth monthly/quarterly close

Coordinate the Intercompany credit control process

Control and support the matching and timely posting of intercompany transactions processed by Intercompany Analysts

Monthly / Quarterly Processing and Journal review of adjustments prepared by Intercompany Analysts identified through the reconciliation process

Take active part in any IC related cross functional projects

Collect improvement opportunities and suggest development measures to increase productivity within the team

Act as the back-up for Team Lead. Control, coordinate and support the team’s day-to-day operations. Act as a point of contact for IC related matters.

What You will need to be successful:Relevant degree and experience in related Finance areasMinimum 3 years of relevant experienceStrong English knowledgeStrong level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awarenessProactive in initiating actions before being asked to or forced to by eventsPrior experience of the BP intercompany process and/or other group processes is preferredAbility to coach, challenge to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.Ability to work with deadlines, under pressure with a track record of delivery.Customer- and service-oriented thinking.
