Daily challengesThe Integrations Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and other PaaS tools. The role ensures reliable data exchange and seamless business process flows across cloud and on-prem applications.
Integration Design & Development - Design integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) – including scheduled orchestration, app-driven flows, and file-based integrations; Develop integration logic using REST/SOAP APIs, XSLT, JavaScript, and OIC adapters (ERP, FTP, DB, REST, SOAP)
Configuration & Deployment - Configure connections, mappings, fault handling, and security policies in OIC; Use lookup tables, libraries, and reusable components for scalable integration design
Error Handling & Monitoring - Implement robust error handling, logging, and alerting mechanisms; Monitor integration status, debug issues, and apply fixes in a timely manner
Testing & Validation - Perform unit, system, and end-to-end testing of integrations with appropriate test data; Work closely with functional and data teams to validate payloads and ensure data integrity
Documentation & Handover - Create technical design documents, interface specifications, deployment plans, and user guides; Support transition to operations (Hypercare and long-term support teams)
Collaboration & Leadership - Mentor junior developers and conduct peer code reviews; Coordinate with SaaS functional consultants and external system owners for end-to-end flow validation
eXperience and skills requiredFluent in spoken and verbal English
6–10 years of ERP technical development experience, with 2+ years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Strong experience with REST/SOAP web services, XSLT, JSON/XML, OAuth, FTP/SFTP
Familiarity with Oracle ERP Cloud data structures (Financials, SCM) and APIs
Proficiency in debugging payloads, configuring adapters, and handling faults
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Considered as advantage:
Oracle Cloud Platform certification in Integration or Application Development
Exposure to BIP/OTBI, VBCS, APEX, and FBDI for end-to-end integration support
Experience in Agile delivery, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines
Prior work in high-volume transaction environments (BFSI, manufacturing, retail, etc.)
