Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist (Level 4) to join our team in Fairfax, VA or Smithfield, PA locations.

This role will be an essential member of the Argon ST team, a division under Electronics & Intelligence Systems. Argon ST is a leading provider of C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance).

We are seeking a motivated career-driven scheduling professional to lead and support scheduling initiatives, including the development and management of program integrated master schedules. To be successful in this role, you will closely collaborate with program, technical and financial leaders and team members to enable data-based decisions that drive the best outcomes. You will also develop proposal plans and schedules, baseline execution schedules, maintain the in-work schedules, perform critical path analysis and what-if planning, and support the delivery of IPMR Format 6 deliverables.

You will participate in all aspects of IP&S activities and execute the following to provide actionable, value-added products to our customers:

Program Planning – Develop initial planning products (e.g. IMP, WBS, Master Phasing Schedule, High-Level Flows)Program Scheduling – Develop and Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)Detailed Scheduling & Change Management – Develop and maintain lower-level schedules.Change Integration – Manage baseline and forecast schedule changesProject Management – Lead key program initiatives to improve program execution

Position Responsibilities:

Serve as the schedule lead working with IPTs in developing, integrating, and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reporting to the Program Management teamWork closely with Integrated Product Team Leads, IP&S team, and program leadership to ensure alignment and integration of the IMS with other key program plans and schedules such as the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Master Phasing Plan, Critical Path Analysis, High-Level Flow (HLF) and detailed schedules below the IMSAccountable for schedule compliance, assessment of schedule risk, identification of opportunities (including schedule margin planning), and providing robust/actionable performance reporting from the IMS to support and drive program management understanding and actionLead integration of supplier and partner plans and schedules into the IMS to ensure the whole team is operating to the same rhythm and prioritiesModel driving program execution through quick turn generation of prospective schedule 
performance analyses, recovery/alternate scenario planning, and improved schedule visibility/visualizationProvide training, coaching, mentoring, and leadership to lower-level employeesProvide subject matter expertise in the development, implementation, and training of processes and tools

This position is required to be onsite. The selected candidate must be able to work at one of the listed locations.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience developing and integrating program-level master schedules3+ years of experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.3+ years of experience performing Schedule Executability Risk Assessments and preparing, analyzing and reporting recommendations to Program Senior Leadership re: establishment and management of Schedule Risk Mitigation (i.e., Schedule Margin)Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience modeling complex development programs including integration of activities across multiple platforms, multiple suppliers, and customer resourcesExperience using ExcelExperience with products developed using Agile software development practices and familiarity with Tools such as JIRA1+ year of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) applying Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) requirementsProject Management Certification (PMP) or experience in PMBOK principles/relevant courseworkStrong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsBachelor's Degree or higherActive Secret/Top Secret clearance preferred.

Travel: Willing to travel up to 10%

Summary pay range:

Fairfax, VA $115,600 - $156,400

Smithfield, PA                $107950 - $146,050
