Senior Instructional Designer
Description We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to develop impactful training programs tailored to our employees' needs. This role requires expertise in adult learning principles, curriculum design, and facilitation strategies for both in-person and virtual environments. As part of a long-term contract, you will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to create engaging and measurable learning experiences that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities: • Design and develop comprehensive instructor-led training programs tailored to employee needs. • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights and translate technical knowledge into accessible training materials. • Utilize adult learning principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences. • Facilitate training sessions in both virtual and in-person settings, ensuring maximum participant engagement. • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics. • Adapt content based on organizational changes and employee feedback to ensure relevance. • Ensure all curriculum aligns with company objectives and supports employee growth. • Manage training development timelines and deliverables to meet project deadlines. • Research and implement innovative strategies to enhance training methodologies. • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure training initiatives support overall organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience in instructional design, specifically creating instructor-led training programs. • Strong understanding of adult learning theories and curriculum development. • Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders. • Proficiency in facilitating both virtual and in-person training sessions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Skilled in evaluating training effectiveness and implementing improvements. • Familiarity with research and development processes for training content. • Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
