Position Overview:
The Sr Sales Rep – Inside Sales, is responsible for achieving the territory's assigned objectives by developing and implementing distributor sales and marketing plans, by training and motivating distributor sales representatives, (DSRs) and executing distributor strategies developed by the Home & Commercial Division.
Role:
Meet sales targets and KPI’s
Use insight selling skills to sell products and programs to Distributor Partners.
Develop annual Joint Business Plans for top Distributor Partners and update quarterly
Educate DSR’s by conducting virtual sales meetings and workshops
Maintain accurate distributor account profiles in Salesforce
Communicate progress of performance against sales targets and KPI’s
Share best practices and strategize with Inside Sales Team members.
Responsibilities:
Achieve the assigned sales goals and objectives
Utilize insight selling to distributors to show value of Rubbermaid vs competition
Secure primary product position in distribution partner warehouse
Identify high potential sales opportunities and conduct thorough needs analysis.
Develop territory plans and set territory priorities based on opportunity and Home & Commercial management direction (KPIs)
Develop annual distributor account plans
Update and analyze account plans quarterly
Work closely with teammates to share market and competitive information to drive sales
Communicate effectively with teammates to maximize total team performance
Complete and maintain accurate account profiles in Salesforce
Plan, Track and Manage Sales Funnel in Salesforce
Manage Product Sampling for Product Demos, Tradeshows, Sales Meetings
Operate within budget
Assure adherence to the company's policies and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years’ experience in consumer or business-to-business sales or equivalent related experience
Effective negotiation, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
High degree of social confidence and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong time management skills
Well versed ability to multi-task between multiple customers, opportunities, and internal departments
Displayed ability to think creatively and create new sales avenues with new and current customer base
Must be willing to travel as appropriate, approximately 10%
