Are you a proactive, detail-oriented supply chain professional with a passion for flawless execution? As Senior Initiative Planner, you’ll play a critical role in leading our Initiatives Planning Operations—ensuring the smooth delivery of new product launches, SKU changes, and delists with outstanding service and minimal waste. You’ll own the development of production and stock strategies, champion the use of PIPO tools, and ensure full adherence to the GM Launch to Win/gate process. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you'll also drive enhancements within our supply planning capabilities to build a more agile, efficient operation. What your role is Owns initiative readiness, including monitoring vs timeline, communication, risk identification/escalation & troubleshooting Custodian of the market Supply Chain gate process & critical path - ensuring 100% of NPD’s/SKU changes can be launched on time with excellent service and minimal waste Robust NPD tracking, EPOS, distribution vs target and internal KPI metrics. Provides planning input to scope development in areas such as schedule, cost, inventory impact, and feasibility Influence General Mills plants and ESC on MOQ’s and production frequencies Management and custodian of GM launch tools (PIPO, Post gate 2, Customer checklist) Delist process is followed ensuring minimal waste and maximum service Identify options for running out remnants Owns % NPD launch on time, % of critical gate timelines achieved, gate process adherence, CFR and Waste for product initiatives What you will bring to the team We’re seeking a supply chain professional with at least 5 years of experience, ideally in planning roles such as supply, demand, or initiatives. You will bring solid project management skills, strong communication abilities, and the confidence to influence and challenge constructively. A proactive mindset, learning agility, and a drive for continuous improvement are essential. You’re someone who takes initiative, adapts quickly, and is always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to deliver results. What’s in it for you?
