Join a high-impact, matrixed team spanning Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), customers, and suppliers as the Information Technology (IT) Business Partner for the Virtual Warfare Center which is Boeing’s premier secure, multi-site facility for large-scale virtual and constructive simulation. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the execution of IT requirements, partnering closely with business units and functions to align technology solutions with key initiatives.
As a trusted liaison, you will engage the right resources, evaluate alternatives, and drive deployment of secure, compliant systems across multiple locations, collaborating with both internal and government IT teams. You will balance strategic vision with hands-on management, support active campaigns, optimize IT costs, and ensure mission success.

Position Responsibilities:
Oversees and acts as an internal consultant for liaison activities at a strategic/enterprise level between the business or function and IT and related organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure the most complex of business objectives are met
Leads the education of the Business’ senior leadership on IT service offerings
Collaborates directly with business or function to understand problems or initiatives, and represents the business or function within IT at the highest levels to engage the right resources, explores alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time quality
Directs the development and execution of communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders
Oversees the identification of risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function senior leadership to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments
Provides input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensures alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function
Accounts for the dollars spent, funding, and affordability in support of their applicable business unit(s) or function(s)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience supporting technologies and business
Experience with defense products and services
Experience fulfilling and enabling requests
Experience with defense products and services
Experience with documenting need for Future Production System, high priority and focus area of the Digital Transformation Program

Summary pay range: $125,800 – $170,200
