Responsibilities As a Senior Information Security Analyst with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:Lead the team responsible for IA posture.Assess system vulnerabilities, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.Troubleshoot technical problems with staff.Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures carried out.Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL) related technologies and systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) support.Serve as a lead for the team responsible for information assurance posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation.Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard files and vital electronic infrastructure.Lead the development of documentation to support certification of compliance to standards.Ensure equipment is maintained and operational.Assist in training staff on new technologies. Qualifications Active Top Secret ClearanceU.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearanceBS/BA degree and 10 years experienceAt least 5 years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity.At least 5 years of the experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, test design, test execution, and implementation of security mechanisms.Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).Able to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team.Proficiency with MS Office. Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $155,700.00/Yr. - USD $260,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
