The primary role of the Engineering function is to apply advanced skills and knowledge of the Industrial Engineering discipline to develop and implement material flow processes, introduce new technology and equipment, Design efficient material flow in new facilities and documentation, and meet the current and future global Manufacturing strategy. Key deliverables include project management and simulation of material flow for different sites with various scenarios considered.

Focus: Material flow optimisation from inbound to outbound.

Responsibilities: Conduct motion time studies and manpower optimisation. Apply statistical methods to determine staffing and production standards. Implement lean principles to eliminate non-value-added activities.

Team Environment: Cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing functions.

Role Highlights: Improve assembly time and process flow. Develop capacity models and ramp plan analysis. Conduct workflow studies to support high-volume manufacturing

Simulation/Modelling: modelling the end-to-end material from across the supply chain to determine the optimal flow & investment

Business Case: Develop a concrete business case with a validation strategy

VSM: Mapping up end-to-end material flow across different sites and functions

Mentorship: Guide Junior Engineer

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
