**Your Career**
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a strategic sourcing professional to join our team and lead procurement efforts across our **Facilities, Real Estate, and Places categories** . This is more than a sourcing role—it’s an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide decisions, drive measurable cost efficiencies, and strengthen partnerships across our Places organization.
You will bring deep category expertise and a passion for optimizing supplier performance. This position works cross-functionally to manage relationships with multiple suppliers, focusing on contracting, delivery, quality, cost performance, and the overall relationship between Palo Alto Networks and our supply sources. You'll develop solutions to optimize demand, costs, and the supply chain, driving performance based on KPIs and SLAs.
**Your Impact**
+ Partner with stakeholders across Facilities and Corporate Services to develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and service delivery.
+ Lead the full contract lifecycle: from drafting scopes of work and managing RFPs to redlining agreements and driving supplier onboarding.
+ Drive negotiations that result in competitive pricing, enforceable performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs), and scalable long-term agreements.
+ Identify and implement cost-saving and cost-avoidance opportunities through spend analysis, supplier consolidation, and demand optimization.
+ Serve as a key advisor on sourcing best practices, helping internal teams make informed decisions that align with policy and long-term value.
+ Support risk management by evaluating supplier compliance, onboarding, and data integrity.
**Your Experience**
+ 8+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on indirect categories supporting Facilities/Places or Corporate Services.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance—or equivalent military experience.
+ Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial terms, contracts, and pricing for complex services and indirect spend categories.
+ Advanced skills in quantitative applications such as Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse solutions, Microsoft Excel, etc.
+ Experience managing supplier relationships and performance against contractual SLAs and KPIs.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
+ General experience procuring a diverse set of indirect goods and services is preferred.

**Compensation Disclosure**
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $138000 - $221000/YR.
