We are seeking an experienced Cyber Defense Senior Incident Communications Lead to enhance the Communications function within Microsoft’s Cyber Defense Operations. The Communications function of the Defense Operations organization is responsible for ensuring timely, consistent, and accurate information flow that supports effective incident coordination, response, reporting, and assessment for legal, contractual, privacy, and regulatory reporting obligations. Developing automated reporting of Cyber Defense Operations activity to enable consistent, accurate, and responsible reporting to stakeholders both within the Office of the CISO and across Microsoft divisions. Coordinate with legal teams to support the fulfillment of incident related regulatory and contractual requirements. Partner with OCISO leadership to inform the CISO and Deputy CISOs through daily and weekly reports of incidents. Embody our culture and values **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualification** + Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. + 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. + 5+ years experience in cybersecurity incident response, or program management OR equivalent experience. + 2+ years experience in cybersecurity, operations, or technical program management. + Experience in cross functional project management or crisis management. **Other Requirements** Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
