Senior IIoT and Cyber Security Engineer

This position will be leading development of Industrial Networking, Manufacturing Controls, and Manufacturing Cyber Security Standards for Operational Technology in an Enterprise level role to support current and future manufacturing systems at Ford.

You'll have... 

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related OR a combination of education and experience 4+ years’ experience with Operational Technology Cyber Security technologies, Industrial Networking, and Edge Computing Strong project management and organizational skills Direct experience with manufacturing (Plant, Vehicle or Powertrain Operations, etc..) Ability to work in a team environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills Hands-on knowledge & experience with IT systems and or support

Knowledge of Mfg 4.0 (Industry 4.0) key principles – data collection, AI, machine learning, IIoT, and connectivity Networking and Controls architectures including reading/editing Engineering Documents Manufacturing Plant experience working in the role as a controls engineer Ideal candidates will have proven experience with:  A highly technical field, such as manufacturing, cyber security, computer science, or engineering.  ISA-62443, NIST 800-82, CVSS and CVEs  Network technologies including deep packet inspection, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) Large-scale project management including multiple layers of initiatives, deliverables, resource constraints, cross-organizational considerations, and vendors, including intertwined external dependencies. Ability to independently evaluate and analyze highly technical requirements, derive conclusions, and support them with repeatable data. Working in a Team environment supporting program-related tasks (create, update, move documents, notify stakeholders, collect feedback, etc.)  Helping to lead small and medium sized groups with various backgrounds, technical abilities, and organizational structures to complete highly complex and time-sensitive tasks. 4+ years of experience in technically challenging role within Cyber Security including project management English language proficiency Highly motivated self-starter Ability to think “outside the box” to generate feasible and beneficial solutions to tackle complex problems  Ability to generate new ideas to improve upon existing (legacy/traditional) processes within the Manufacturing environment Proficient with Microsoft Office products

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8.

What you'll do...

Work closely with cross functional Manufacturing and Information Technology Teams to research, develop, lead strategic deployments, and guide Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Cyber Security strategy related to Manufacturing Controls, Hardware, and Software Responsible for development of Manufacturing Networking Solutions and Strategies to support IIoT Initiatives Responsible for researching and developing program elements and technologies that fulfil cybersecurity requirements specific to Ford’s Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Environment Complete Networking, IIoT and Cyber Security Solution Development for Focused Projects and Defined Priorities Lead small teams of engineers to provide Controls Standards consultation and plant floor systems perspective on proposed Cyber Security and IIoT initiatives Teach/Coach/Mentor and document technical knowledge
