Join us. **Job Description** The Senior ICT/Communications Engineer will operate as a key member of the PMCM team, responsible for ensuring the successful design review, coordination, implementation, testing, and commissioning of all ICT, ELV, and communications systems in a high-end fit-out environment. The role involves close collaboration with the client’s IT/AV stakeholders to deliver operationally efficient, secure, and future-proof systems. **Key Responsibilities:** **Design Review & End-User Coordination** + Review ICT, structured cabling, and ELV system designs, ensuring alignment with end-user requirements, project specifications, and applicable international standards. + Engage with Qatar Airways’ IT, security, and AV teams to confirm scope, interface requirements, and operational integration of all communications systems. **Engineering Review** + Review and comment on shop drawings, design calculations, interface layouts, riser diagrams, and coordination drawings for ICT and ELV systems including but not limited to: + Structured cabling + Data & voice networks + IP telephony + Public Address (PA) + Access Control, CCTV & Security Systems + IPTV and SMATV + Audiovisual (AV) systems + Building Management System (BMS) integration + Ensure spatial and technical coordination with MEP, architectural, and interior design elements. **Material Submittals & Prequalification** + Review and evaluate ICT system material submittals, datasheets, mockups, and pre-qualifications of vendors and subcontractors. + Verify compliance with project specifications and employer's ICT/AV standards. **Construction Oversight** + Monitor on-site installation of ICT and ELV systems to ensure compliance with approved designs, workmanship standards, and safety protocols. + Proactively resolve technical conflicts and interface issues across trades. **Testing, Commissioning & Handover** + Supervise and validate testing, integration, and commissioning of ICT and communications systems. + Witness third-party testing, verify system performance, and support in preparing system handover documentation including test results, O&M manuals, and training records. **Authority Approvals & Compliance** + Coordinate with regulatory and telecom authorities (e.g., QCD, MOI, Ashghal if applicable) for system registration, approvals, and inspections. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering ,Telecommunications or a related field. + Proven 10 years experience in ICT system design, implementation, and management within a **Project Management Consultancy** environment. + Strong background in designing and managing ICT infrastructure for large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. + Experience working on diverse projects such as urban developments, commercial, or infrastructure projects. + Knowledge of network design, telecom systems, data management, security systems, and integrated communications solutions. + Strong understanding of ICT best practices, including risk management, project coordination, and compliance with relevant industry standards. + Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. + Ability to manage vendor relationships and oversee the delivery of ICT systems by third-party contractors. **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
