Are you a passionate Human Resources leader who thrives on building strong teams, shaping culture, and driving meaningful change? We’re looking for an experienced **Human Resources Manager** to join our leadership team at our 375-person manufacturing facility in **Jackson, MI** —a key site for Saint-Gobain, a global leader in sustainable materials and innovation.
In this **strategic and hands-on** role, you’ll lead all facets of Human Resources for the plant, including organizational development, talent strategy, employee engagement, health and safety culture, workers’ compensation, benefits, and training. You’ll be an essential voice on the plant leadership team, championing our people strategy and helping position the facility as a **model of world-class HR practices and employee experience.**
**What You’ll Do:**
Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership—helping drive culture, communication, and alignment across the business.
+ Lead initiatives that build high-performing teams, empower employee involvement, and promote continuous learning and development.
+ Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace by coaching managers and employees on effective communication and conflict resolution.
+ Own the development and execution of people-centric programs that enhance engagement, wellness, and retention.
+ Oversee compensation and benefits administration, as well as local vendor and contract management.
+ Act as both **Employee Advocate** and **Company Ambassador** , helping balance business goals with a human-first approach.
+ Embed and promote the **Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct and Action** throughout the facility.
**Position Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or similar is required
+ PHR/SPHR certification preferred
+ A minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources with at least 5 years of leadership experience
+ Experience in a manufacturing plant is preferred
+ Success in coaching, counseling, conflict resolution is necessary
+ Comprehensive understanding of HR practice, policy and employment regulations
+ Competency in digital tools, specifically - the Microsoft Suite. Experience with Workday HRIS a definite plus!
+ Flexible working hour requirements beyond a typical 8-hour workday
