Senior Human Resources Consultant
Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead HR-related projects as assigned, including but not limited to:
Creating and revising employee handbooks Reviewing and classifying job descriptions Executing specialized recruitment initiatives for hard-to-fill or executive-level positions Conducting HR system reviews and implementing process improvements Managing benefit transitions, open enrollment activities, and the utilization of benefit enrollment systems Providing thought leadership on relevant topics to meet client needs, which may include preparing content for newsletters or delivering presentations to stakeholders. Act as a central coordination point for clients in support of their daily HR operations, including: Connecting client vendors and stakeholders to facilitate project objectives Employing effective communication strategies to keep all parties updated on ongoing processes and project statuses Utilizing interpersonal skills to assess when to escalate issues to management, aiming to enhance client relationships and experiences Collaborating with management and clients to define engagement parameters and tailor solutions accordingly. Deliver HR generalist services according to the terms of engagement, including: Supporting recruitment processes by ensuring staffing needs are met, scheduling candidates, participating in interviews, and conducting pre-employment screenings as needed Assisting with employee benefits management by liaising with agents and brokers, facilitating open enrollment sessions, conducting new hire orientations, and addressing employee benefit inquiries Coordinating compliance initiatives, including adherence to workforce programs, reporting under ACA and EEO regulations, managing safety initiatives, and handling employee leave processes. Coordinate and execute services within established project budgets, focusing on enhancing business acumen, including: Identifying required hours, timelines, and resources for client support Managing client expectations through proactive communication and setting realistic approaches for task completion Providing periodic reporting and updates to stakeholders and management Foster the development of existing and new client relationships to achieve business development and profitability goals, including: Participating in professional organizations to advance the HR profession and build a personal network Cross-selling additional services to expand client offerings through exceptional service. Support various internal projects and assist the Specialty Services Department as needed. Qualifications: College degree in HR or Business Management required. 5-7 years of previous HR or Organizational Development experience required. At least 3 years of experience in HR/Payroll/Benefits administration required. PHR, or SPHR certification preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word; PowerPoint experience preferred). Strong knowledge of DOL, EEOC, FLSA, ADA, ERISA, and related laws and regulations. Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
