Our Human Resources team is an integral part of the Japan business operations. We enable strategic business initiatives and work closely with leadership to align our people solutions to shared strategic initiatives. We work on organizational development and change management all aligned to both Corporate and Regional initiatives.

As Senior Human Resources Business Partner you will help us to enable those strategic business initiatives. This a time of change. You will be part of a team that is shaping organizational development and change management initiatives as we continue to build Akamai as a global leading organization.
As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
+ Identifying, supporting, and providing change management and OD efforts and consulting with relevant HR leaders as appropriate.
+ Evolving and embedding talent strategies to enable diversity, inclusion and engagement
+ Working with supporting COEs and peers, delivering and supporting outcomes of regular metrics including Quarterly people metrics.
+ Collaborating with COE organizations and peer HRBPs to gather information, and ensure business compliance with HR programs.
+ Assisting in the development, design and execution of corporate HR programs and projects.
+ Managing the employee life cycle; identifying trends, process gaps, support, capabilities, and efficiencies and address resolutions
+ Performing Data Analysis for the Japan business as we track and report on our initiatives
+ Management of ER related matters in line with the laws according to Japan
**Do what you love**
To be successful in this role you will:
+ Have between 10-15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
+ Have experience and ability delivering in a global, high-growth, changing environment in high technology
+ Have leadership presence and communications skills, and ability to influence at the senior leadership level
+ Have success working in a collaborative, matrixed environment, and track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
+ Have ability to address difficult issues and make tough decisions
+ Have experience managing change, shaping culture, influencing leadership, developing talent, managing risk and ensuring compliance
+ Have experience supporting Functional programs as applicable and appropriate.
+ Ideally have experience working in the technology sector
