In this dynamic role, the ideal candidate will take the lead in managing and administering employee benefits with precision, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely handling of critical tasks. From processing life insurance approvals, and resolving enrollment discrepancies to managing payroll adjustments and supporting employees through Leave of Absence (LOA) transitions, you'll play a key role in enhancing the employee experience. You'll assist employees with missed premiums, benefits updates and oversee important initiatives such as the annual PTO cash-out process, as well as contribute to impactful special projects.

*Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in HR (2 of which are in the specialty area - Benefits).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
*Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:*
* AA degree or combination of education and advanced training or certification in a specialty area.
* Bachelor's preferred.
* Self-funded health plan experience.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Leave of absence administration background.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to think critically and apply problem solving skills.
* IRS Section 125 plan administration experience.
* Ability to work independently with collaborative oversight.
* HRIS system proficiency - Lawson/Workday is a plus.
* Healthcare environment experience valued.
