Senior HR People Partner
Job Description

As our operations continue to develop and grow, we are now seeking to recruit a seasoned Senior HR People Partner.

 

This role will require a proactive, out-of-the-box thinker who excels at challenging the status quo, driving organizational change, and leading transformations will be a part of a regional HR team creating an engaged and productive workforce through Danfoss’s policies, programs and best practices.  In this role you will partner with leaders/people managers to orchestrate HR initiatives across site and regional teams to offer a smooth and top-of-class HR experience as the single point of contact on people topics and securing the execution of the HR strategy in collaboration with the HR leadership and HR business partners.

 

This role will be based in Lappeenranta, Finland, with very occasional travel (circa 2-4 times per year) to other Danfoss sites as required.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
•    Act as a trusted advisor, coach, and change agent for leaders and people managers, enhancing the employee experience.
•    Collaborate on employee development with leaders/people managers to ensure key workforce skills and capabilities are identified and developed to meet future market demand.
•    Develop and implement HR initiatives in collaboration with leaders and people managers, ensure compliance with local employment laws, and drive company culture.
•    Drive organizational development and change effectively trough comprehensive understanding of HR processes.
•    Interact proficiently with leaders and employees, aligning HR practices with business objectives and ensuring successful change management implementation.
•    Be recognized as an expert in relevant HR practices, prioritize initiatives, build strong stakeholder relations, influence mindset trough cultural inclusion, and analyze employee data strategically.
 

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
•    Relevant bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as psychology, HR, business, or communications from an accredited institution.
•    Demonstrable experience in roles such as HR Manager, HR Partner, Senior HR Generalist, or a talent leader, preferably in a manufacturing or innovation development environment.
•    Detailed knowledge of HR practices and processes in Finland
•    Proven ability to support and coach leaders through complex initiatives, along with experience in a global matrixed environment.
•    Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, coupled with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adept at facilitating virtual and face-to-face interactions with a direct approach.
