What You'll Do:
As a Senior HR Operational Excellence Manager, Process & Projects, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of core HR Op Ex and HR Technology projects including our HR Digital Transformation to the cloud. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.
This role requires a blend of strong leadership, end-to-end process HR process design, project management skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders. Drive efficiency, collaboration, innovation, and process vision within the HR function ensuring we define the right processes for Lubrizol for moments that matter in the employee lifecycle.
Lead workshops to define global future processes (e.g., talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, payroll) in preparation for our HCM journey to the cloud. Understand nuances for local variation while establishing guardrails for flexibility. Partner across COEs, Shared Services, and Regional HR to ensure alignment with the business and IT building credibility and influencing across functions. Act as a change champion to shift mindsets and reinforce the value of standardization and employee/manager self-service. Own business requirements, support testing and training, and serve as the decision-making point on HR process issues. Collaborate closely with IT and the system implementor to ensure design aligns with SuccessFactors capabilities. Define clear, intuitive user journeys for Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS). Lead the end-to-end management of HR projects and the HR Technology portfolio, in partnership with product owners, from initiation to closure, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the HR project portfolio by conducting listening sessions, ensuring processes land as intended, and refining processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor performance to industry benchmarks for a best in class HR division.
Skills That Make a Difference:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, Project Management, or related field. 8+ years of experience in process and project management, with at least 3 years of experience managing HR projects or portfolios, including HR Technology projects and system implementations where processes were standardized and designed prior to implementation. Working knowledge of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors preferred. Proven track record of successfully implementing Agile methodologies in HR or related functions. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities. PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
