Senior HR Generalist
We have an outstanding career opportunity for aSenior HR Generalistto join a leading Company located in the Richmond, VA surrounding area. The Sr. HR Generalist/ HR Business Partner provides Human Resources support across the community to team members, managers, and directors, helping to create a culture that recognizes and rewards performance while encouraging professional development. This role ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws, as well as state regulations. The HR Director must communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and collaborate with others to enhance the workplac e . Job Responsibilities: + Partner with managers and team members to ensure engagement at all level s. + Provide guidance to managers on policy interpretation and performance management. + Assist with coaching and team development; conduct or advise on investigations and disciplinary actions. + Serve as an active member of the Safety Committee, promoting a strong safety culture. + In collaboration with the Benefits Specialist, provide guidance on leave and benefit programs including FMLA, STD, LTD, and Workers Compensation. + Work closely with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely compensation. Basic Hiring Criteria + Bachelor's degree preferred. + 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role, ideally within a clinical or healthcare setting. + Experience in senior living is a plus but not required. + Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws and regulations. + Excellent planning, organizational, and support skills. + Demonstrated ability to think critically and handle confidential information with discretion. + Proven ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization. + Proficiency in computer systems, including timekeeping and HRIS platforms.
