Job Summary
Reporting to the HR Operation Leader, the Senior HR Generalist will focus on HR processes for multiple plants in Northern Italy including different legal entities and provide local partnership and advice to the local business leaders, while working in close collaboration with the other HR team members. The role will be based in Vignate, with business travel as required to other plants, and will supervise one resource.
Responsibilities and duties
Execute HR plans, processes, and programmes aligned with business objectives and the overall HR strategy. Contribute to the development and implementation of the local business strategy by translating it into measurable functional and individual objectives. Develop, implement, and maintain local HR policies, ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes. Provide local support during key annual HR processes such as Performance Management, Development Planning, Compensation Planning, and Employee Engagement initiatives. Support local managers in organisational design and workforce planning. Partner with and provide coaching to local leadership, line managers, and employees on HR-related matters to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with labour laws, national collective agreements (CCNL), and manage disciplinary actions and litigation procedures where necessary. Oversee Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement activities. Support HR-related aspects of Mergers & Acquisitions, including due diligence and change management initiatives. Manage internal communication strategies to support alignment and engagement. Lead HR reporting and analytics activities, including the development and maintenance of dashboards and KPIs to monitor workforce trends, support decision-making, and ensure data-driven HR practices. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on key HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, absenteeism, and diversity.Requirements and Skills
Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. 3 to 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources roles. Proven experience in HR operations, with solid knowledge of compensation, recruitment, and performance management processes. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor leaders and teams to drive performance and engagement. Experience working in complex, matrixed organisations. Strong knowledge of organisational development, team dynamics, and leading change initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organisation. Proactive, creative, and results-oriented, with strong follow-through and attention to detail. Ability to balance competing priorities and align HR initiatives with the needs of multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis tools is a plus. Car Owner
